2010 has already been very busy for the Coventry Jets Senior Flag team. Quite apart from their continuing recruitment drive, they travelled down to Bristol last month for a friendly with Filton College Pride and more recently entertained the Coventry University Jets.

Coventry 's American Football Academy has opened the door to closer links with perennial Britbowl title contenders the Jets by changing their name from the Bears to adopt the kitted team’s moniker.

Jets Flag Get Set For 2010

 

The Coventry Jets senior flag team’s preparations for their 2010 BAFL campaign began in earnest last week with a hard fought victory in the capital. Their opponents, the London Rebels, did the double over Coventry during the 2009 season but Head Coach Andy Gambrill and his side were well prepared for the fixture and came away with a deserved 19-6 victory.
